How the HIMAA Consultant's Register works.
The Consultant's Register provides you with the capacity to register your personal details, qualifications, work experience and work preferences online. This data will then be held in a searchable database.

A nominal fee attaches to registration. A discounted registration fee is offered to HIMAA members. There are two reasons for applying a registration fee:

  • One, the register costs time (and hence money) to establish and maintain.
  • Two, and more importantly, the imposition of a registration fee deters hackers from entering bogus data in the database.

Registration is avaiable to anyone, including companies. We want to have the widest possible range of options in structuring a winning bid.

When a potential consulting asignment is identified the database is searched for suitable individuals able to undertake the assignment.

The HIMAA National Office will prepare and submit the tender or bid. Normally HIMAA Ltd will be engaged as the Head Contractor, in turn engaging consultants, on contract, to perform the work.

The Consultant's Register is sponsored by NCSi and was officially launched at the HIMAA 2004 Symposium.
