Pay Rate: $70,774 - $74,676 An exciting opportunity exists for a Health Information Manager to join the clinical coding team at The Canberra Hospital. The successful applicant will have recent clinical coding experience in a tertiary facility across a broad range of casemix using ICD-10-AM 6th edition, some experience training clinical coders and conducting coding quality audits involving interactive casemix reviews with clinical staff, a sound knowledge of casemix, and excellent communication skills. Previous supervisory experience would be advantage. We will consider less experienced health information managers who are seeking advancement and a broadening of their casemix and coding skills. The Canberra Hospital is a 500-bed teaching hospital providing tertiary referral services for the ACT and southeast NSW and utilises an on-line electronic storage system for clinical records (CRIS).
