Information: The Golden Thread in Health
Reform
Health
information is one of the essential
building blocks of a strong health
system. The
conference aim is to explore how health
information management is central to the
healthcare reform agenda, in light of
“A
Healthier Future For All Australians”;
the
final report from the National
Health and Hospitals Reform Commission.
The
following three challenges, as
articulated in the NHHRC report, are all
opportunities for demonstrating the key
role of health information management.
The challenges are the key topics
selected for the 2010 conference papers
and have a number of sub-topics which
can be used as a guide for abstract
themes.
